Home AC installation across West Sussex

In most cases, yes. Permitted development rights do not apply to properties in a conservation area if the outdoor condenser unit is visible from a public road or highway. Units placed on a rear wall or internal courtyard elevation may still fall under permitted development — your installer will assess this during the site visit. Chichester city centre and several villages across West Sussex have significant conservation area coverage. Your installer will confirm whether permission is required and can advise on the best unit placement to support a successful application.

Yes — we install in coastal properties regularly across Worthing, Littlehampton, Bognor Regis, and Shoreham-by-Sea. The main consideration for coastal homes is salt air corrosion on the outdoor condenser unit. We specify marine-grade or corrosion-resistant units for properties within close proximity to the seafront. Your installer will confirm the right specification during the site visit.

We cover the full county including rural areas around Horsham, Chichester, Midhurst, and Petworth. Lead times are typically the same as urban areas — most customers go from estimate to installation within 5–7 days. Your installer will contact you to arrange a site visit as quickly as possible after your request. Installation day for a single room system is usually completed within one working day.
